Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year for so many reasons: fabulous parties, time with family, pretty decorations… but I especially love giving my amazing friends and family gifts! It’s so fun to find and buy the perfect gift for each person on my list, then wrap it up in beautiful paper and ribbons; it’s such a special way for me to say “thank you” to all the people I love! Some years I’m all planned out months in advance, but this year, I’m way behind schedule… anyone else?? For those of you rushing for the last-minute perfect gift, I’m here to help! I’ve gathered a list of my favorite gifts to give and receive, from the softest robe to the most in-demand makeup palettes, so you can fill up the space under your Christmas tree with Katrina-endorsed gifts people are sure to love! 😉
Pottery Barn Cozy Luster Faux Fur Robe or UGG Karoline Robe: There is nothing cozier than an ultra soft robe, especially a brand new one on Christmas morning! I have two absolute favorites- choose your favorite style for the plushiest Christmas ever. Pottery Barn’s Faux fur robe has old-school glamour with a soft trim and vintage styling. For a more classic look, UGG’s Karoline robe is the way to go: plush fleece interior with a cozy jersey outer layer, in a lovely shade of gray. Robes are the perfect gift for someone who deserves a relaxing morning, and it will definitely be an upgrade from the terrycloth number sitting in the back of their closet.
Aerin Lauder Candles: By now, luxury candles are a staple in the Christmas gift circuit. These Aerin Lauder candles, created by the granddaughter of Estee Lauder, step your candle game up to a whole other level. With gorgeous scents like L’Ansecoy Orange Blossom and Uzes Tuberose, and an elegant gold-and-cream glass holder, they’re sure to be a hit with anyone from your sweet next-door neighbor to your mother-in-law. The cherry on top is the packaging: the prettiest watercolor boxes with a striking gold label (order one for yourself too, I officially give you permission!).
Burberry Cashmere Cape: Forget Christmas Sweaters- this year, give a Christmas cape! This cape with a great pair of boots is the perfect look for the coming months- it’s going to be chilly, and what better way to warm up than in Burberry? I love this gorgeous, soft garment to wear to a wintery brunch or a festive gathering- it’s cozy and fashionable at the same time. Burberry designs pieces that can be worn year after year, and that won’t go out of style.
Bony Levy ‘Stackable’ Diamond Band: Of course, everyone needs a little bling to ring in the new year! Bony Levy rings have a gorgeous sparkle, and their design is always impeccable. While I love their more ornate bands for myself, this simple diamond band is a great gift because it’s elegant and easy-to-wear. I love these in white gold, it feels more timeless than yellow gold. The best part? They’re stackable! It makes it easy to add on to someone’s collection after the holidays have passed. Plus, who hasn’t squealed at the sight of diamonds on Christmas morning? Certainly no one I know 😉
Kitchen Aid Mixer in Copper: Here’s an update on an old-school Christmas gift! I love Kitchen Aid mixers for their versatility and their classic design. Everyone knows and loves the Kitchen Aid brand, especially me; but I have absolutely adored their new updated design in copper! Copper is very on-trend (think moscow mule mugs) but still has a vintage vibe that will stick around for years to come. Give the gift of years of perfectly baked cakes, pies, and Christmas cookies to someone you really love- and who you know makes a mean gingerbread house!
Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Pallettes: The Uptown Girl and The Rock Chick: For the glamor girl you know and love, this is the gift of the season. Charlotte Tilbury is one of my all-time favorite beauty brands for good reason: the packaging is beautiful and luxe, and the product is a dream to apply. The rock chick palette features silvery grays and a dark slate, perfect for an edgy New Year’s Eve makeover, or an effortless smokey eye. For your girlfriend who’s a little less dramatic, The Uptown Girl features more neutral colors that will give her regular makeup routine a beautiful upgrade. Whichever way you go, I know these palettes will be a big hit with the ladies in your life.
Hermes blanket: This gift is a luxury classic, and one that I’m especially obsessed with, so of course I had to include it on my gift list this season- and probably every Christmas season until further notice. At $1,500 this gift is definitely on the higher end, but it’s sure to wow and it will last a lifetime. It’s winning features are of course the clean lines and the fun detail of the H logo. And I love seeing someone’s face when they unwrap an Hermes box almost as much as I love the look of these blankets draped over a chair or couch in a well-designed living room!
Happy (last-minute) shopping!
